First of all I want to thank you for visiting my web site. It is my hope that the scenes and places which I blog about in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State help to brighten your day. Jeanette and I enjoy living in the Finger Lakes region of New York State.
I am grateful for the help that I have received from Jim Sinicropi at Finger Lakes News and Information (www.FingerLakes1.com). Jim features my posts in his newspaper and that really helps me to build up my readership. The readership at FL1.com is several hundred times greater than mine! Jim and his web design people, Thom and Janice, have given my website a fresh new look for 2013 which I hope that you will enjoy. The two pictures that are at the top of the blog are a part of my collection of pictures which I take while wondering around in the Finger Lakes. If you hold the cursor on the picture, the title of the picture comes up. If you click on the picture, an enlarged version of the picture appears. I like the Bristol Mountain web cam which is located near the southern end of Canandaigua Lake. It gives you an instant visual of our current weather conditions.
You will also notice that my Finger Lakes Living Store button is gone. The store is closed for remodeling but in its place is a “Help Support FLL360” button. If you enjoy my pictures and my writing, I would truly appreciate it if you would occasionally send me a few dollars to help keep my Finger Lakes Living web site open.
As I look to the year ahead, I see a great synergy between what I post on Finger Lakes Living and the promotion of the Finger Lakes Region of New York State as a premier tourist destination. If you own or are associated with a business in the Finger Lakes which caters to the tourist industry or would like someone to do some research on a place of interest in the Finger Lakes, I am offering my services to visit your place of business, take some pictures, and write a custom blog which will be featured on Finger Lakes Living and on Finger Lakes News and Information. Businesses like wineries, resorts, real estate sales, marinas, B&B’s, and restaurants come to mind. You can e-mail me at email@example.com or call 585 203 7501.
In the meantime, I will keep wondering around in the Finger Lakes, writing about subjects which are of interest to me. And yes, I am open to suggestions in regards to your interests and how I might change my blog to make it a “must visit” destination for you!
