Today was my mother’s birthday. She never really asked for much. Just some simple garden tools, some good soil, and some rotted cow manure so she could provide for her family. She praised God for sending the rain and sunshine to her tomato plants so they would grow strong and tall. She planted geraniums on the front porch so that they would look nice to all those who passed by our home. And I am sure that she often prayed for strength to take care of her family, her garden, and the animals that she loved so much.
I hope that you enjoy the pictures of my daffodils. The extraordinary warm weather has forced these flowers to bloom here in the Finger Lakes just in time for my mother’s birthday, and for our Easter celebration. Happy Easter everyone!
